Willows Health provide urgent GP services for when your GP practice in Leicester may be closed. Many practices close on a Thursday afternoon for teaching and training. During this time, our clinicians are working hard to maintain essential services to patients across Leicester which can include telephone appointments, face to face appointments at the Coleman Road site, and home visits for those patients who may require them. During the Coronavirus pandemic home visits are being performed by our colleagues at Derbyshire Health United.

Health Care Home Service

Willows Health take pride in providing an outstanding service to local care homes. We have a dedicated Consultant in Elderly Care, Physician Associate and On-Call GP to help manage all the problems elder people in a care home setting can have. We have unique insight into a complex group of patients who have significant needs. We are continually investing in our ability to look after this patient group in the most dignified way we are able.

We believe care planning is fundamental in improving the lives of our elder patients. At Willows, we have performed the highest proportion of care plans per patient capita in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. This is an example of our outstanding, proactive care which is now receiving international appeal.
